We are a small family-owned kennel specializing in Closed-Face Miniature Chow Chows. At The Lions Den, we are dedicated to breeding the finest quality, sweet-tempered, rough-coated Chinese Miniature Chow Chows. We are actively involved in the success and progression of the Chow Chow breed. We take great pride in the feedback received from clientele that our puppies have grown up to be very socially sound, loving and friendly dogs. This provides us with the necessary incentive to continue breeding these beautiful, loving and loyal companions.

All of our adult dogs are well socialized. They love to run and roam on our property and are raised with our children. We encourage interaction by visitors so they are very accepting of contact with a diverse public. We believe the trust of our dogs translates into easily socialized puppies. The puppies are handled (imprinted) from the day they are born. We whelp them ourselves. We strongly feel this “imprinting” makes them very trusting of humans and they respond by wanting to please.

Our goal is to maintain breeding mini Chows that represent all 5 basic Chow colors- red, black, cream, cinnamon & blue. We have litters born throughout the year, so please call or message to ascertain availability. Our breeding program is designed to produce closed-face miniature chows that are healthy, happy, and well-adjusted. Our chows are raised in a loving and nurturing home, and we take great care to ensure that they receive the best possible care and socialization. Our desire is to produce top quality miniature Chows that have a compact frame, thick structure, wide muzzle, and phenomenal coat with bloodlines imported from China and Spain. 

We are located near Lindsay Oklahoma, about 1 hour south of Oklahoma City Ok.  Our kennel is nestled on 1 acre with approx 400 acres of open land surrounding our home.  We continue to make improvements to our kennel and have plans for an indoor/outdoor facility soon. We take a great deal of pride in our kennel operation and are very proud of our business professionalism. Our dogs, who we consider members of our family, get the best of care with lots of love and attention. Their health and welfare is our primary concern.
